Claim To Fame: Born and raised in Norway, the daughter of a Norwegian-American mother and Mexican diplomat father, rising star Jenny Pelicer has a real cosmopolitan background, reflected in the roles she's already won. On FX Network's The Bridge, she played the drug-addicted daughter of a corrupt Mexican politician, while she shortly to play a Norwegian reporter in a forthcoming Gerardo Naranjo movie. Til now, Jenny is best known for starring alongside Katherine Heigl in the NBC show State Of Affairs. This green-eyed beauty came to acting late. After graduating from the international school in Oslo, Pellicer worked for Costa Rica's Ministry of Health combating the spread of dengue fever. She then took a law degree at Durham University in the UK, before moving to London and working for Newsweek magazine. She only thought about acting after moving to Mexico City to help her relatives start a restaurant business. One of her uncles is a renowned Mexican poet and two aunts are successful Mexican actress. Jenny got the bug too and, after meeting an old friend from Norway in Los Angeles, she was quickly snapped up by the friend's acting manager father. It wasn't long before the casting directors came calling.
