Halloween's P J Soles Nude

A familiar face playing American high school girls in a couple of the most iconic horror movies ever made, few probably realise that P J Soles was born in Germany. Her Dutch father worked for an international insurance company and she was born Pamela Jayne Hardon in Frankfurt on 17 July 1950. She grew up living in 8 different countries, before finally moving to her mother's hometown of New York to study at the Actor's Studio in her teens.

She quickly found work in commercials and modelling before Brian De Palma cast her in her debut role as Norma Watson in Carrie. The wild water hose which kills her character in the famous prom scene actually burst her eardrum and knocked her unconscious. John Carpenter wrote the part of Lynda van der Klok, the final victim of Michael Myers in the first instalment of the horror classic Halloween, for PJ because her loved the way she said "totally" in Carrie. She also featured in two of the biggest comedies of the 1980s, Private Benjamin and Stripes, where she played Bill Murray's girlfriend. In real life, P J has marred three times. Soles, the name which she has kept, belonged to her first husband. Her second husband was actor Denis Quaid. They met while filming Our Winning Season. While raising kids took her away from full-time work, she still managed to chalk up some more credits in movies such as Rock 'n' Roll High School, Alienator and Rob Zombie movie The Devil's Rejects. She was ranked #4 on Maxim's "Hottest Women of Horror Movies" list.
